Construction is progressing at Monarch Place with the luxury residential development continuing to take shape in the heart of Southport boosted by strong buyer demand.
Residents will also have the option of using the Monarch Place resident yacht to explore the Broadwater and the Gold Coast’s waterways, adventure caravans for a weekend escape or coastal road trip, and access to a fleet of electric vehicles.
With a crane now on site, works are advancing through the initial levels of the development, incorporating resident amenities, medical suites and carparking.
The construction program is using precast building techniques across the first six levels, supporting an efficient build process as the project begins its vertical progression.
Monarch Place is located in the heart of Southport.
Monarch Place sales director Jason Paris said the 237-residence development had emerged as one of Queensland’s fastest-selling apartment projects, reflecting continued demand for premium apartment living in one of the Gold Coast’s key urban centres and reinforcing confidence in the region’s apartment market.
“Monarch Place has attracted buyers seeking a combination of premium residences, extensive lifestyle facilities and a central Gold Coast location, while providing further evidence of Southport’s growing appeal as a residential and investment destination,” he said.
“Visible construction represents an important milestone for purchasers and the wider market.
“Having the crane on site and seeing construction visibly progress gives buyers a real sense of the scale of what is being delivered.
Facilities at Monarch Place include a resort-style pool.
“We have continued to see strong inquiry and consistent traffic through the Monarch Place display, and construction provides another level of confidence for purchasers considering the project.”
Mr Paris said central to the development was the Monarch Imperial Club, an extensive collection of private amenities, experiences and resident services designed to extend luxury living well beyond the residence itself.
Residents will have access to a resort-style swimming pool and bar, gym and fitness studio, steam room and sauna, golf simulator, private 35-seat cinema, library and games spaces, grand ballroom, meeting rooms and dedicated entertainment areas.
“The Monarch Imperial Club experience will extend beyond the building, with residents also having access to the Monarch luxury yacht, outdoor adventure caravans and an electric vehicle fleet, providing opportunities to experience the Gold Coast and surrounding region,” Mr Paris said.
“A comprehensive suite of resident services will complement the offering, including concierge, valet and airport transfers, creating a level of convenience and service more commonly associated with a luxury resort.”
Residences at Monarch Place are priced from $1.0675m.
Azzura Investments chief executive Robert Badalotti said Monarch Place had been designed around the changing expectations of apartment buyers.
“Apartment living has evolved significantly,” he said.
“Buyers are looking beyond the residence itself and considering the complete experience that a development can provide.
“Our focus with Monarch Place has been to create a genuine lifestyle destination, combining high-quality residences with amenity, wellness, experiences and services that are rarely brought together at this scale within an Australian residential development.”
Monarch Place also incorporates a dedicated medical and commercial component, including 23 medical suites at the mixed-use location.
The development is close to Broadwater, beaches, major health and education infrastructure, retail and dining, with convenient connections to key destinations across the Gold Coast.
“With construction advancing and continued buyer interest, Monarch Place is set to become a significant addition to Southport’s evolving skyline and a new benchmark for luxury apartment living on the Gold Coast,” Mr Paris said.
One-bedroom residences are priced from $1.0675m, two-bedroom options start at $1.525m and three-bedroom designs are priced from $2.715m.
