Niseko Village unveils its long-anticipated gondola upgrade

Niseko will finally have the gondola upgrade its world-class skiing deserves. Replacing the long-serving Mori-no Chair, which has been at work since the early 1980s, the new gondolas will feature 86 sleek cabins with double the capacity and comfort. This will include four VIP options with tables for light dining and two glass-floor cabins for an even more thrilling view of Niseko’s snow-covered landscape. While the gondolas will be fully completed by December 2027, guests can begin riding them from base to the intermediate station starting this winter.
