Oklahoma City native and Broadway producer Cory Lloyd is set to open NH Home, a luxury home décor and lifestyle concept in Nichols Hills Plaza this fall, with an anticipated September debut.
The announcement comes as Lloyd won his first Tony Award earlier this month. Productions he has helped produce earned a combined 27 Tony Award nominations this year. As managing partner of Lloyd Tichio Productions, Lloyd is represented by productions recognized in multiple categories, including Best Revival of a Musical for CATS: The Jellicle Ball and Best Revival of a Play for Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman.
While his productions take center stage in New York, NH Home represents a strategic expansion of Lloyd’s lifestyle brand, Cory Lloyd & Co., into brick-and-mortar retail and a direct investment in Oklahoma City’s evolving retail landscape. Having purchased a home in Nichols Hills three years ago and embarked on an extensive renovation, Lloyd has spent increasing amounts of time in Oklahoma while deepening his involvement in the local community and arts organizations.
With continued growth in Nichols Hills and increasing demand for thoughtfully curated, experience-driven shopping, Lloyd saw an opportunity to introduce a concept that blends design, hospitality and entertaining through his distinct point of view.
“Opening NH Home is both a personal investment in Oklahoma City and a response to the evolution we’re seeing across its retail landscape,” said Lloyd. “What began as a passion for entertaining and design eventually became Cory Lloyd & Co., and NH Home is the natural next chapter of that story. It gives me an opportunity to bring years of work in theater, hospitality, and design into a physical space while building something in a community that has become an important part of my life.”
Located in Nichols Hills Plaza, NH Home is set to introduce a curated assortment of luxury home décor, small furnishings and entertaining essentials selected with an emphasis on quality, craftsmanship, and versatility. The collection reflects Lloyd’s approach to design, hospitality and entertaining, bringing together distinctive pieces sourced from established design markets across Europe and North America. The store is designed to offer a thoughtful retail experience while making design-forward home and entertaining products more accessible to Oklahoma shoppers.
Lloyd, a graduate of Putnam City North High School and the University of Oklahoma, spent nearly a decade touring internationally as a performer before establishing himself in New York as part of a new generation of Broadway producers. Throughout his career, he has developed a reputation for creating immersive, detail- driven experiences–an approach that directly informs the vision for NH Home.
“In theater, every detail matters,” said Lloyd. “You’re constantly thinking about staging, lighting, scenic design and how individual elements come together to tell a story. I’ve always approached entertaining and design much the same way throughout my career.
“Whether it’s a Broadway production or a beautifully set table, the goal is to create a feeling. That’s the lens through which I’m curating NH Home. I’m selecting pieces that are distinctive on their own, but even more compelling when brought together in a thoughtful and personal way.”
In addition to retail offerings, NH Home is expected to explore exclusive brand partnerships, in-store activations and community-focused experiences designed to engage local consumers and complement Oklahoma City’s growing hospitality and design sectors.
“One of the things that excites me most about Oklahoma City right now is the energy and investment across the metro,” said Lloyd. “I’ve spent much of my career building projects in other markets and over the last several years I’ve watched Oklahoma City continue to grow and evolve.
“I found myself wanting to create something here. NH Home is an opportunity to invest in that momentum while creating something that feels personal, meaningful, and uniquely suited to this community.”
The opening reflects Lloyd’s growing presence in Oklahoma and his continued commitment to design, hospitality and entertaining. He hopes NH Home becomes a destination for people who value thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship and the art of gathering.
Additional details regarding the store’s grand opening, launch events, and partnerships are to be announced in the coming weeks.
