    History Supreme Yacht is the most expensive thing in the world with a price tag of $4.8 billion. While it’s not pronounced as the largest yacht in the world, it still took three years to design this luxury. 

    Citing from the Architectural Digest, the History Supreme Yacht is under the ownership of Robert Kuok also known as Malaysia’s richest man.

    2. Antilia – $4.6 Gold Bullion

    Antilia is a 27-story building in Mumbai, India, currently owned by Mukesh Ambani, also known as one of the richest men in India according to Forbes. 

    The building features three helipads, nine elevators, a 50-seat home theater, and much more opulence. It was completed in 2010 for around $2 billion and is now valued at $4.6 billion. 

    3. Villa Leopolda – $750 million

    It’s almost impossible not to mention Villa Leopolda, which is priced at a staggering $750 million. As one of the most expensive things in the world, this mansion grants the title of the second most expensive private residence.

    The history of Villa Leopolda dates back to World War II when it served as a hospital. Since it was first built in 1902 for King Leopold II of Belgium, the building has undergone several reconstructions.

    4. Salvator Mundi Painting – $450.3 million

    Another extravagant painting has made it onto the list of most expensive things in the world at $450.3 million. The “Salvator Mundi” painting was sold by secondhand dealer Dmitry Rybolovlev, who had previously purchased it from Yves Bouvier.

    5. The Card Players Painting – $250 million 

    “The Card Players” is a painting by Paul Cezanne from the 1890s. The painting was carefully crafted in his fifties. Cezanne was devoted to shaping the positions of the card players, constantly fine-tuning the poses until each one fell perfectly into place. 

    This magnificent painting was purchased by Qatar in 2011 for the princely sum of $250 million, representing one of the country’s long-term investments in the art market.  

    6. Jeff Bezos’ Beverly Hills Home – $175 million 

    Jeff Bezos, who co-founded Amazon, reportedly owns a number of properties, including the Beverly Hills home, which is valued at $175 million. The extravagant mansion was previously owned by David Geffen. 

    7. Dead Shark – $8 million 

    The art market is fickle, as evidenced by “The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living, aka The Shark,” which was created by artist Damien Hirst in 1991. The artwork was a tiger shark preserved in formaldehyde and commissioned by Charles Saatchi. 

    According to various reports, the shark art alone was sold to hedge fund billionaire Steven Cohen for a staggering $8 million. 

    8. Mariah Carey’s engagement ring – $10 million 

    The iconic singer of “All I Want for Christmas is You”, Mariah Carey, has a luxurious engagement ring from former fiancé James Packer. The ring is estimated to cost as much as $10 million. Brides reported that this engagement ring is the highest purchase ever made by a celebrity. 

    The ring was worn consistently for a year after the engagement ended before being sold to an L.A. jeweler for just $2.1 million. 

    9. Perfect Pink Diamond – $23.2 Million

    Quoting from the official page of Christie’s Jewelry, the Perfect Pink Diamond is a rectangular-shaped intense pink diamond weighing a staggering 14.23 carats. Each side of the superb pink diamond is measured at around 1.73 carats and 1.67 carats. 

    The company successfully sold this 18k rose and white gold diamond to an anonymous buyer for over $24 million in 2012. 

    10. Chopard 201 carat gem watch – $25 million 

    Chopard has made its brand name among the most expensive things in the industry for its grandiose pieces of jewelry as well as luxury things like watches. A 201-carat gemstone watch from Chopard is priced as high as $25 million for the top-notch 874 individual gemstones. 

    The watch features heart-shaped diamonds ranging from 11 to 15 carats each that boast a magnificent appearance. These diamonds are arranged like petals to form the center of the watch’s dial.
