“We are a very close family, and all of our children still live at home, so the layout was a huge part of what made us fall in love with the property,” Ms Maviglia said.

“As the kids have gotten older, having enough space for everyone to have their own independence while still living together has been perfect for us.”

Upstairs is dedicated to a private master suite complete with spacious ensuite, dressing room, retreat area with fireplace, and balcony.

“One of my favourite things is having our own lounge area within the master suite,” Ms Maviglia said.

“With a busy family and busy lives, having that little sanctuary is something we really appreciate.”

“Christmas around the pool, everyone eating, laughing and spending the day together is exactly what we imagined when we bought this home.”

“We worked closely with the amazing team at Bungalow Interiors,” Ms Maviglia said.

“We wanted to respect some of the home’s existing elegance and character while introducing more contemporary elements and making it feel like us.”

The result is a light, bright interior accented by bespoke chandeliers, plantation shutters and custom joinery.

“The interior transformation has probably been the biggest change,” Ms Maviglia said.

“It still has that sense of grandeur, but it now feels very warm, modern and liveable.”
