Public records show multimillion-dollar real estate purchases, while former clients allege they lost thousands pursuing immigration cases
SEATTLE — As former clients accuse former Tukwila immigration attorney Alexandra Lozano of mishandling their immigration cases and costing them thousands of dollars, KING 5 has uncovered a portfolio of multimillion-dollar real estate purchases and evidence of a luxury lifestyle that included travel aboard a distinctive pink private jet.
Lozano resigned from the Washington State Bar Association in May in lieu of discipline, permanently ending her ability to practice law in Washington. Her resignation followed a federal lawsuit filed by former clients and years of complaints reviewed by KING 5.
Among those speaking out is Gabriel Martinez Garcia, one of nine plaintiffs suing Lozano in federal court.
The lawsuit accuses Lozano and her firm of steering some immigrants into abuse-based immigration filings they allegedly did not qualify for, falsifying documents and submitting immigration applications clients did not fully understand. Lozano has denied wrongdoing.
Garcia says he trusted Lozano to help him obtain legal status in the United States.
Instead, he says he lost thousands of dollars and saw his immigration case unravel.
“What she was doing, she was doing bad things to people that really want to be here and want to have a future here,” Garcia told KING 5.
When KING 5 showed Garcia records and images documenting Lozano’s real estate holdings and travel, he was visibly stunned.
“Wow,” he said after learning more about the assets. “That’s … wow.”
Millions in real estate
Property records obtained by KING 5 show Lozano and trusts connected to her bought and sold several high-value properties in recent years.
KING 5’s review of public records found that Lozano increasingly used trust structures to hold real estate assets.
The purchases occurred during a period when Lozano’s immigration practice was rapidly expanding.
Washington State Bar Association’s official resignation papers indicated Lozano’s signature appeared on nearly 54,000 pending immigration cases as of March 2026.
Former clients interviewed by KING 5 reported paying anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000 for legal representation.
Questions surrounding a pink private jet
KING 5 also identified a bright pink Bombardier Challenger 300 private jet associated by multiple sources with Lozano.
The aircraft bears the word “Abogada,” Spanish for attorney, a term Lozano frequently used in her marketing, calling herself Abogada Alexandra.
The jet also features imagery similar to branding Lozano used on social media and in advertisements.
FAA records show the aircraft, registered as N712AQ, is held through a trustee structure. KING 5 has requested additional ownership records from the Federal Aviation Administration.
Flight records reviewed by KING 5 show the aircraft traveling to destinations including Turks and Caicos, Florida, Mexico and Las Vegas.
KING 5 located comparable Challenger 300 aircraft listed for sale at prices approaching $25 million.
The aircraft was last recorded by an aviation tracking website flying from Ocala to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on May 24.
Clients say they paid the price
For Garcia, the records add to a growing sense of frustration. Legal records show he paid approximately $15,000 while trying to obtain immigration help from Lozano’s firm.
“Money doesn’t grow on trees,” Garcia said. He talked to us from inside his landscaping truck during his lunch break at work. “We’ve got to work, sweat, wake up early in the morning.”
He says the contrast between his experience and the lifestyle reflected in the records is difficult to process.
“I don’t know how she’s sleeping at night,” he added.
While Lozano is no longer licensed to practice law in Washington, no criminal charges have been filed. KING 5 has repeatedly attempted to contact Lozano.
Employees at her former Tukwila office told KING 5 they did not know her whereabouts. To date, no arrests have been made and no criminal investigation has been publicly announced.
