‘5 star experience from start to finish’ – A luxury North Yorkshire spa has received glowing reviews from its customers.
Yorkshire Spa Retreat has an almost perfect rating of 4.8 stars from over 200 Google reviews.
The venue, on Gale Lane, is home to luxury lodges and a spa, which offers a unique wild swim pond surrounded by plants and wildflowers, a hydrotherapy pool, herbal steam room, a salt chamber, and more.

Guests can also enjoy massages, facials, scrubs and body treatments in the dedicated treatment cabins.
The wellness destination was founded by Miles Dewhurst who is passionate about “creating somewhere people can escape the everyday, slow down and enjoy proper time for themselves”.

“The Damson Lodge was beautifully designed, spacious, and equipped with everything needed for a luxury getaway, from the hot tub and outdoor kitchen to the stylish living spaces and thoughtful welcome pack.

“The spa facilities were exceptional, with a fantastic hydrotherapy pool, thermal experiences, wild swim pond, and wonderfully relaxing treatments.
“A genuine 5-star experience from start to finish.”
A huge draw for a lot of customers appears to be the on-site restaurant, The Dome.
One reviewer said: “We ate at the restaurant, which has so much character, a warm atmosphere, great customer service, and serves genuinely high-quality food.”
The retreat also offers visitors the chance to own their own lodge on the site, giving them access to the facilities year-round.
The spa has received recognition on social media recently with one person calling it ‘one of the prettiest spas I’ve ever been to’.
