Samsung is supplying OLED screens for the Genesis GV90, the automaker’s latest full-size flagship electric SUV. The vehicle features a 24.6-inch center display and two 13.2-inch screens for rear passengers. These displays create a more luxurious, immersive cabin experience.
Genesis GV90 features Samsung’s premium OLED displays
Samsung began shipping OLED displays for the GV90 this month (August 2026). The company is supplying two different screen solutions for the vehicle. The first is a 24.6-inch Cinematic Display that sits at the center of the vehicle. It features an expandable design, allowing you to adjust the screen size depending on the situation.
You can use the 23.6-inch-wide screen to view driving information, navigation, and media while driving. If you press the display extension button when the vehicle is parked, the screen increases by 90mm and expands to 24.6 inches. This larger screen gives you more space to watch movies and other video content.
The display features a 24:9 ultra-wide aspect ratio and a resolution of 3,840 x 1,440 pixels. It also covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, delivering rich, vivid colors. Samsung uses a tandem OLED structure, which stacks two organic self-emissive layers. As such, users can expect higher brightness and a longer lifespan.

The second screen solution uses two 13.2-inch OLED displays mounted on the backs of the front-seat headrests. They feature a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, giving rear passengers a high-quality viewing experience.
Samsung says OLED panels are about 30% thinner and 70% lighter than similar LCD panels. Since they don’t need a separate backlight, they take up less space. This makes them a good fit for the GV90’s motorized pop-up display.
The OLED panels also follow Samsung’s DRIVE automotive display philosophy. The philosophy focuses on Design Differentiation, Robust Reliability, Intelligent Safety, Visual Excellence, and Expanded & Extendable display solutions.
“Samsung Display’s OLED featured in the GV90 symbolizes how premium display technology and luxury mobility can come together to create a new experience,” said Joohyung Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Mobile Display Business at Samsung Display.
